Patient Monitors

Patient monitors allow for continuous monitoring of a patient's vital signs (body temperature, blood pressure, heart rate, and breathing rate) and other parameters. Some models include alarms that can be triggered when a parameter meets a defined threshold, while simpler models simply display the information being gathered.

GBy monitoring these parameters, healthcare professionals can check for early warning signs, allowing quick intervention. Less vulnerable patients can be fitted with patient-worn monitors, some of which have remote-monitoring capabilities, to allow the patient a greater degree of freedom without impacting the monitoring capabilities of the healthcare professionals.
