Theresa Jeary holds a master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science from the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland and has over 30 years experience working in both the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device industries.

In addition to her product development and global regulatory expertise, Theresa has over 18 years Notified Body experience.

Theresa is the Global Head of the Medicinal and Biologics Team at BSI, who are a specialised Team with responsibility for devices with ancillary medicinal substances, borderline and device classification, Article 117 NB opinions, Rule 21 devices, devices utilising biological materials and IVF/ART devices.

Theresa is a member of the Combination products Operational Group (COMBO) and a regular presenter on MDR Implementation, Combination products and Article 117.
