Sander holds a Master’s degree in Medical Natural Sciences and brings strong entrepreneurial experience to Okos Diagnostics. During the Covid-19 pandemic, he founded PrevViral, successfully importing and distributing rapid tests across Europe while building key relationships with manufacturers and regulators. The frustration of plastic waste during the pandemic fuelled the idea behind Okos, which he co-founded in 2022 together with Luis Fernando Barrios.

Luis is an award-winning product designer and Forbes 30 Under 30 honouree specialising in sustainable healthcare innovation. He developed the initial prototype for a biodegradable diagnostic kit to address plastic waste from testing. His expertise in industrial design and materials science drives Okos’ proprietary bio-based cassette technology, combining high performance with significant environmental benefits.
