Eugénia Peixoto is a Business Developer at the Laboratory for Automatics and Systems (LAS), part of Instituto PedrovNunes, where she works at the intersection of medical device innovation, regulatory strategy, and clinical validation. 

She holds an MSc in Biomedical Engineering from FH Technikum Wien and has a background in project management, including coordinating software development teams for medical devices. Having worked both on the development side and in regulatory focused roles, she supports companies in aligning technical, clinical, and regulatory decisions from early concept through to market access. 

Eugénia works with startups, scale-ups, and established manufacturers developing hardware, software, and hybrid medical devices, supporting CE marking under EU MDR and regulatory strategies for FDA market entry. Her work focuses on integrating regulatory thinking into product and development strategy, with a strong emphasis on digital health solutions shaping the future of healthcare.
