With more than a decade of experience in medical device development, Andreas is a medical device engineer focused on delivering practical healthcare solutions for those who help and heal. His work spans a wide range of technologies, including wound wash systems, heart-lung machines, autotransfusion devices, and drug delivery devices. He has contributed to several patented innovations in drug delivery and extracorporeal systems. 

Working in highly regulated environments, Andreas specialises in bridging the gap between engineering design and regulatory expectations. In his current role as Lead Mechatronic Integrator at LivaNova, he is responsible for the successful execution of mechatronic projects, covering mechanical design processes, technical reviews, innovation activities, and collaboration with external partners. His work is guided by a clear objective: ensuring that engineering solutions translate into real improvements in patients’ lives.
