What do you do at Test Labs?

I’ve recently joined Test Labs as a Business Development Executive. As a part of the Business Development team, I’m responsible for market research, client relationships and sales support. This helps create a holistic and efficient strategy for the business and clients, which I help to continuously adapt and change dependent on the current market and needs.

Where did your interest in customer service stem from?

I have always enjoyed working and helping with others. I thrive in teamwork settings and adapt quickly to new situations. Entering the medical device industry has been a new and exciting challenge. It has encouraged me to use my critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment. Our dynamic and personable approach from creating new relationships and nurturing existing ones consistently drives the best results for us at Test Labs and our clients.

Have you always wanted to work in customer service or business development?

I knew I wanted to work somewhere where I can be a team player because I value teamwork and shared goals, and working in business development has given me the opportunity to do so. At Test Labs, our approach starts with you, it is this exact emphasis on partnership and collaboration that makes working in business development with Test Labs truly impactful and meaningful.

What would your advice be for someone thinking of working in the customer service or business development?

Being a good listener! Often when working, discussing and deliberating with multiple clients daily it’s vital to understand their perspective, emotions and the challenges they may face and ultimately make them feel heard. At Test Labs, our consultative approach epitomises our relationships with clients, we partner with our clients on a collaborative journey, helping identify the best methodology to assist with their testing requirements and create bespoke solutions for you. Being a part of this impactful journey helps shape my passion for business development, because when we listen and engage with one another we can achieve the best results for our clients.

What are you looking forward to most about working at Test Labs?

Learning! My time at Test Labs so far has been both insightful and new, from starting out in the medical device industry to confidently understanding how testing and compliance works, the challenges clients face and most importantly how Test Labs helps navigate this excites me. It’s a continuous journey of growth and learning, and I’m eager to flourish in a new environment with our team.
