Safah Shaikh is a MedTech AI innovator and Biomedical Engineer with over six years of experience in high-risk medical device development, specialising in surgical solutions, AI integration, and computational modelling. She holds a BEng in Biomedical Engineering and an MSc in Mechanical Engineering, and is currently completing a second MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.
Her expertise sits at the intersection of MedTech, AI, and R&D, with a focus on developing inclusive, patient-centred technologies that deliver real-world impact. Safah also contributes to multiple advisory boards, including the IMechE Biomedical Engineering Division and Aston University’s Engineering School.
